As a Santa Barbara wedding musician, I get to play at some pretty cool venues. One of my favorites is the Mural Room in the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Most venues require sound amplification, which is pretty important if you want a harp to be heard. However, the Mural Room is so acoustically dynamic that no sound reinforcement is necessary. In fact, it might just get in the way.
The Santa Barbara Courthouse offers several spots to have a wedding ceremony. It’s gorgeous mission-styled architecture is an iconic expression of what is so delightful about Santa Barbara. Today? Well… it was a bit wet, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the groom and bride.
It was such a beautiful wedding ceremony! Jeanie, The officiant from Forever Yours Weddings, did a fabulous job of customizing their ceremony to identify their uniqueness as a couple. Gabriella looked gorgeous as she came down to Pachelbel’s Canon in D, which sounds pretty awesome on the harp (I’m just saying;-). For the bridal party, I played Can’t Help Falling in Love, which is also a classic love song!
